Here is the announcement for the scientific conference where I want to highlight how challenging implementation has been in Curaçao. The more active we become, the more positive outcomes we can report.
Dutch Caribbean Research Week 2024
November 20, 2024 - November 27, 2024
The Dutch Caribbean Research Week 2024 is a free, annual multi-day conference aimed at providing a platform to bring together researchers from the Caribbean scientific community. The week is packed with lectures, panel discussions, cultural interludes, and networking opportunities.
This year, the Dutch Caribbean Research Week will be fully hosted on the islands. From Wednesday, November 20 to Friday, November 22, events will take place on the SSS islands. From Monday, November 25 to Wednesday, November 27, events will be held on the ABC islands. To allow as many interested parties as possible to participate, both within and outside the Kingdom of the Netherlands, all sessions will be live-streamed. Due to time zone differences, the events will be held in the mornings for the Caribbean region and in the afternoons for the Netherlands. This year’s live streams will come from Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, Sint Maarten, and Sint Eustatius, with several in-person networking activities on the islands. These are fantastic opportunities for local scientific communities to come together! More details on locations will be shared soon.
