Curaçao scores the highest in the region when it comes to good governance[1].We are a meritocratic society appointing people based on their merits. Government Curaçao has secure e-government that enables social, economic, and cultural development. The government is result-driven, no more red-tape. The results are monitored on a dashboard. All laws are modern, eliminating outdated laws. The electoral system is adjusted in the sense that the parliamentary seat is assigned to the political party and not to the candidate. There is a sound and just fiscal policy. There is a smart/simple and just tax system. Tax compliance is the highest in the region. Businesses can start and operate and operate digitally. Integrity and Equality Corruption is low. Civil society creates a balance between the public and private sectors. Security In 2030 Curaçao will be one of the safest places on earth, not because of a low crime rate, but because of the value that its people will place on their security and their willingness to look after each other. Curaçao will be a safe place because of the respect that its people have for each other, the culture, infrastructure, and personal belongings. [1] Society is all about governance. Governance comprises all of the processes of governing whether undertaken by the government of a state, by a market or by a network over a social system (family, tribe, formal or informal organization, territory or across territories) and whether through the laws, norms, power or language of an organized society. It relates to "the processes of interaction and decision-making among the actors involved in a collective problem that lead to the creation, reinforcement, or reproduction of social norms and institutions." In layman terms, it could be described as the political processes that exist in and between formal institutions.
